Target Audience = Audience That is aimed at by a media institution or even a specific programme
Niche Audience = A group of people with specific interests (usually smaller than a target audience, eg young people in stepney)
Convergence = When different forms of media technology come together, (E.g.Website for a radio station).
Consumer = The person who consumes / buys a product
License fee payers = the people who pay for their TV liscence to fund the BBC.
Content = The stuff that gets broadcast to the audience
Prosumer = Consumers who also produce media products (eg posting videos on youtube, twitter, etc)
